The online search is open to all owners of pet rabbits who believe their bunnies can give everyone a “hop” for their money by being cute as a button. Contestants have to post and share photos of their pet rabbits at PAREF's official Facebook page where the contest is being held.
The month long online search started last June 1 and will run until July 2, 2016. Here are some of the contestants vying for the Cutest Bunny 2016 title for senior and junior divisions, respectively.
Like most social media-based contests, the search for The Cutest Bunny in the Philippines 2016 gives weight on the number of Facebook Likes (40%) and the number of Facebook Shares (30%) that a photo entry gets. Judges are also awarding 30% for photo quality, uniqueness and cuteness of rabbit's pose.
Medals and special prizes await two winners. For more details on how to join, please visit www.facebook.com/parefinc
PAREF was formed last year by like-minded individuals who want to properly control rabbit breeds in the country. The group also wants to register pure and show quality rabbits and promote rabbit standards in the Philippines, said Bill Gonzales, one of the group founders. -- ©MetroPets
