We're still wondering, but the description says this item is “the perfect tool for bathing and grooming cats” as it is made from heavy-duty polyester to let water in and out when bathing. It could probably fit an average-size adult cat (52*36cm). Why give this to an animal rescuer? Simple: most cats being rescued need a bath and they are not exactly the friendliest when wet.
