FIERCE. This stray cat was seen inside a private compound of old houses in Pasay City. Definitely not the cute type, but its black to rust coloring is amazing and with a gaze so fierce it looks absolutely stunning. (MetroPets photo)
SPOTTED during the Dog & Cat Expo 2016 is this sweet Exotic Shorthair wearing a lion's mane. His name is Shiro. Isn't this darling so wildly adorable?
UNA, a young ginger tabby, sleeps like a princess complete with flower in her hair. She's the first of the litter, hence her name. Isn't she a picture of total bliss and innocence?
THE Philippines has no space program but that didn't stop this dog from having lofty dreams. Wearing a make-believe astronaut suit, this dog and its owner bagged the 1st prize during the recently held Pawshion Show at the 2016 Doggie Fun Fair that honored service dogs. (Photo by MetroPets)
"FANNY" TABBIES. These kittens love this stand fan because it's their playground and bedroom in one. Kuya (orange tabby), Ate and Bunsoy (grey tabbies) belong to Margay De Pedro who took this photo using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.
COCOJAM. These are Maja and Coco, rescues of Mariel Garcia Eduvala. They were found along JP Rizal Ave. in Marikina where one of them was close to being hit by a car. Now, Coco and Maja live with Mariel's 43 other cats and eight dogs. Their diet consists of fish and squash. (Photo by Mariel Garcia Eduvala)
SPOTTED! This Golden Retriever was at a recent dog fair wearing sunflowers on her head. Ain't she summery and pretty, basking in glory shining bright? Guess it's to be expected from this breed to always follow the sun!
"The sun is not sunny, but we can have lots of good fun that is funny.”
― Dr. Seuss, The Cat in the Hat
EL CHAPO. Although he was named after a Mexican drug lord, this good looking puppy is lucky to even have a name. Chapo was found by Jan Fraser Pilapil wandering the street in Springtown Villas in Tanza, Cavite. “I named him Chapo because the day i adopted him I was still undecided what to call him. Then, suddenly I heard the word 'chapo' on TV,” said Jan. Chapo is very playful, sweet and submissive, Jan added. (Photo by Jan Fraser Pilapil)
