CONEJO is Spanish for rabbits and most Filipinos know that. What they are yet to discover, however, is the Philippines' first coffee shop that features actual rabbits.
Cunejo Cafe, located in 47 Guadalupe St., Morning Breeze Subdivision in Caloocan City, is now in business. It boasts of being the first pure rabbit cafe in the Philippines where bunnies and coffee lovers can mingle. The owners decided not to follow the proper Spanish spelling of the word conejo to be able to register “Cunejo” as a trademark.
'Expect to find rabbits in a play area while enjoying delicious frappes and food,” said Gonzales.
