The Cornered Cats, a mounted pet bed, like a hammock, meant to be installed specifically in a corner where it can get support from three sides has a patent pending and had a Global Invention Royalty Analysis performed by World Patent Marketing. Now, who would have thought that a cat bed would be the subject of such scrutiny and validation?
It looks simple enough, but until early this year nobody has thought of licensing this kind of cat bed that gives cats their own special corner away from foot traffic and the madding crowd.
The Cornered Cats is designed to be mounted in the corner of a room where two walls meet at an approximately 90 degree angle. It uses a fabric and frame to make this ideal cat bed suitable for all cat types. The present invention can be attached to any corner and to any height required. It's a minimalist cat bed that does away with unsightly cat towers or cat beds that take up floor space.
Because it can be mounted on what usually are unused corner spaces in a room, The Cornered Cat gives cats living in small places a place where they won't get in the way of anyone. Best of all, it gives cats a perfect perch that hopefully would encourage them not to lay their paws on the couch again.
The inventor of The Cornered Cats is seeking a third party licensee to manufacture, market and distribute the product under a royalty agreement.
Do you think your cat would use this product? Or are you thinking you can make your own The Cornered Cat bed instead?
