Allegedly, Mr. T hangs around with an old beggar that used to stay a stone's throw away from the U-turn slot near Meralco's office in Commonwealth. Last Monday (July 17), we did see both "manong" and Mr. T but not together. In fact, they were quite far from each other and separately on each side of the road.
Mr. T seems to like staying near a puddle of water. It is where we've seen, on two separate occasions, different cars that hazard parked to give Mr. T some scrap food.
Day and night, rain or shine, Mr. T tries to avoid the thousands of vehicles that pass Commonwealth Avenue by staying as close as possible to the concrete barriers that surround the MRT-7 construction site. He's been very lucky so far; hope his luck doesn't run out before he is rescued.
Commonwealth Avenue is known in the Philippines and abroad as the 'Killer Highway' with extremely heavy traffic. Sadly, Mr. T calls it "home" at the moment. We are calling on animal rescue teams to come to Mr. T's aid. He is jumpy, which makes rescuing him a challenge, but he is in great danger and needs professional dog rescuers to save him. PLEASE, SAVE MR. T. ---- MetroPets
